Hello!

First, thank you for your fabulous product! My five-year-old son broke his elbow just a couple of days after our community pool opened. He had been asking “when will the pool open” for weeks. The thought of having to keep this active, water-loving, mud-seeking kid out of the water for 5 weeks just made my heart sink. We made the trip to our local medical supply store to buy a Dry Pro full arm waterproof cover the same afternoon he had his cast put on. (after one of your helpful phone reps directed us to the closest location.) We had bet the orthopedic doctor that he would never make it and that we would be sure to be replacing the cast when it got wet. We lost that bet! The cast came off this past Tuesday.

I’m excited to share – I told everyone at our ortho’s office about the product and donated our cover for a future patient. The doctor was pretty impressed.

Back in the water after 7 years

Here is a picture of me back in the water after 7 years. I have just finished 3rd in my age group at the Pensacola 3 mile Bridge Swim while wearing my Dry Pro Ostomy cover. After my brother got me a Dry Pro, I had the confidence to join a swim team and complete a triathlon. I no longer had to worry about having a leak or failure of my ostamy appliance and ruining the pool for everyone else. I grew up on a beach so the ocean has always been a favorite place to swim. Dry Pro provides an extra layer of protection for all of the exposed and raw places that are part of an ostomy and a stoma. Thanks for letting me get back in the water.

Thanks again Dry Pro!!!!

My son Collin is 8 years old. This June 2009 he fell off a skate board and broke his arm for the third time this year. I was devastated and him even more so. His second summer in a row with a cast which to him meant no swimming. I immediately started searching the internet for a miracle. I found our miracle; Dry Pro cast cover. That cast cover saved his summer. He went out on the lake tubing, swimming several times a week, and even going down water slides and jumping in. Because of the numerous fractures he was placed in two differant types of casts over a period of 7 weeks. I bought two cast covers to get us through. I have since given one to our orthopedic office for advertisement. Everyone needs to know about this product. Thanks again Dry Pro!!!!
