Our soon to be three year old, Emma broke her lower leg right before the start of our summer vacation. Your customer service staff was very understanding after we realized the extra-small full leg cast cover was to tight and quickly replaced it with a small half-leg cast cover, FedEx shipped directly to our hotel. Not only has your cast cover performed against the sea, lake, pool as well as the slip and slide but we also found that it can be used to keep sand out of the cast without pumping out the air while on the beach. In a pinch you can suck the air out with your mouth, but I would not advise doing that if you are allergic to latex or you dislike the taste of rubber. We plan on leaving your cast cover at the pediatric orthopedic office next week when we have her cast removed!

We just wanted to say a big Thank You to Dry Pro for saving our summer! Three days after school let out for the summer, our son broke his ankle (being a typical 6 year old boy!!). Since his grandmother has a pool and lives right down the street, he was devistated when the doctor told him that there was no way he would be able to swim with his cast on. We were bound to prove them wrong. I asked the doctor’s office if there was any sort of waterproof cover that we could use to protect his cast in the water, the nurse told us that she didn’t know of anything. So when we got home I immediately searched the internet for options and found Dry Pro! What a blessing!!! It has honestly saved our summer. There’s not much that he can do on a broken ankle and swimming is his favorite summer activity…now he can enjoy the summer (and so can the rest of us!!). So, thanks so much Dry Pro for giving us our summer back!!

DRYPro at the Lake

Here’s a photo of my 13 yr old son using his arm cast cover for the first time. We own lake property, and when the prospect of not being to swim because of his cast came up, he was really upset. My mother-in-law uses one of these for her PICC line she has placed for her chemotherapy, so she recommended it to him – we even paid for next day shipping so he could receive it before we went to our lake property last weekend. He was really happy to not have to sit on the sidelines and watch everyone else swim, and his cast stayed perfectly dry. Thanks for such a great invention!

I wanted to Thank You for such an amazing product. Dry Pro saved our vacation.

Our 6 year old son broke his foot 6 days before we was suppose to leave for vacation to the beach.

We was all devastated that he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the beach, the sand and the pool.

But, then I found Dry Pro on the internet and read the testimonials of other customers.

That made me a believer and I had to get one for him.

I was able to purchase one at a pharmacy in Hilton Head Island, SC (Burke Pharmacy).

Let me tell you that he was able to do everything that his twin brother and sister was able to do with the cast cover.

As you can see in the pictures I provided, he was able to play in the ocean, play in the sand and swim in the pool.
We had an amazing time.

DryPro Saved our Vacation

We wanted to thank you for your excellent product and fantastic customer service.  As you know, we ordered the wrong size Dry Pro cast cover.  We were scheduled to depart on our vacation the next morning.  You sent the correct Dry Pro cast cover to our hotel, overnight.  We received the package when we arrived and it was the perfect fit!  This product really does work, my son’s cast stayed dry and you really did save our vacation.  As we were sitting in the doctor’s office, the doctor told Trey that it was very important to keep the cast dry.  As he knew we had planned our vacation during the time he would have his cast on, tears fell from his eyes.  We searched the internet for a product and found your web site.  We were hesitant and not sure if the cover would really work.  After spending three days in and out of the water – body surfing – not a drop of water fell on his cast.

We would recommend this product as it really does work.  Thanks again and we sincerely appreciate your customer service.  PS…. as promised, the cast cover that we measured wrong is on it’s was back.  Thanks again.

Post Surgery Protection

Dear Dry Pro,

I am writing to thank you for your wonderful “Waterproof Leg Protector,” and let you know how it has made my life much easier. After major knee surgery, I went home from the hospital with numerous large scars stitched shut, a large, unwieldy knee immobilizer brace, and instructions from my surgeon not the get the knee wet or put any weight on the leg without the brace. This proved to be a big challenge when showering, as garbage bags and tape did not seal water off from my skin, and plastic bags were easily punctured or ripped from the brace. Fortunately I found your product a few days later. It has allowed me to shower with comfort and ease without taking off my brace, and its durable and flexible enough to fit around the brace easily while still keeping my leg waterproof!

I hope you can see from these pictures how well it worked and maybe inform your customers of another useful application for your product. Thanks also for your speedy delivery!

DRYPro Saves a Hawaii Vacation

Dr. Arch,

Thank you so very much! TV aside, I cannot begin to tell you how much the DryPro product meant to our family. I cannot help but smile when I think of the moments we were able to share together with our children in Hawaii- many of which would have never happened without the DryPro cast cover.

Like all parents, nothing is more troubling then watching your children be unhappy or distressed over things that seemingly you can do nothing about. We were certainly feeling that way when she broke her leg- not to mention having to watch her emotions as she was told by the doctor she would not be able to go in the water for 6-8 weeks. Her mom is a swim teacher, we live in California, our vacation was planned around mostly water activities in Hawaii- you do the math. Things were pretty sad around our home for the week leading into our trip.

You may notice from the photos we submitted, she is actually wearing an “arm” cover on her leg. Turns out in my haste to try and find anything that may work; I ordered the wrong size leg cover. Once it arrived and we found it was too small, we called and your customer service folks provided us the list of “local” retailers where we could maybe find one in stock. After a number of calls from the list you provided, we found someone about 30 miles away who had a few options in stock. We made the trip (the morning before we were supposed to leave) and were disappointed that he was sold out of the size we needed for her leg. We were able to exchange our mail ordered leg cover at the local retailer for an arm cover that worked just great!!! I am certain there were people wondering why she looked like she had a thumb sticking out of her foot. J

We cannot thank you enough for the product, service and responsive retailer that made for some of the best of family memories!

My only regret is that there is not enough awareness about your products so that others could benefit.

Helpful Tips When Using Our Dry Pro Ostomy Protector

1. If you have a hernia, it most likely will break the seal.

**If you are just looking for protection from having an accident while swimming or soaking in a hot tub, the Dry Pro will give you that protection.

2. If your scar is sinking in, the Dry Pro will not seal properly.

**Apply your Skin Barrier Sealant Paste to your scar by filling in and building up your scar tissue. This will definitely help you achieve a proper seal with no leaking.

3. If you are using the Dry Pro for swimming, then I recommend using a 6” bag instead of the standard 11” bag. You can however fold your pouch in half.

The most important part of the Dry Pro Ostomy Protector is the 1” going around the pouch on your skin. This is how the Dry Pro seals to your body. If there is anything in the way, or if the 1” of surgical latex is not laying flat on your skin, you will not get a proper seal.
